Celebrating our Afro-Indigenous heritage through land stewardship

By working collaboratively, we tap into our innate creativity and problem-solving abilities

At Earthseed, we're all about fostering an ecosystem of care. Your generous donations help build educational programs for young people and sponsor retreats, tours, and residencies for our Afro-Indigenous community. Our Tree Kin Stewards receive a thriving wage, robust health care, and translation services. Since 2021, we've been committed to donating our fruit to our local partners, along with hosting U-Pick days for schools and community organizations in Sonoma County and the Bay Area. All donations are received through our Fiscal Sponsor, Common Good, a 501(c)3 organization.

When you donate $50 per month, you sponsor a box of fruit kin for our local partners. A donation of $100 a month helps fund translation services for our team. If you donate $1500 per month, you'll sponsor a Tour + U-Pick day for a local community group. And if you donate $5000, you'll sponsor two day-long field trips for young people to Earthseed! Thank you so much for sharing your bounty with us.  Your donations make it possible for us to share our bounty from our more-than-human-kin with our community!

Donations go through our non-profit fiscal sponsor, Community Movement Builders.

Your recurring donation helps us to plan for the year and gives stability and continuity to our organization. Thank you so much and we appreciate you donating at any level and spreading the word about EARTHseed.

It seemed very possible that the world that Octavia Butler was writing about was, sadly, our future, and that there was something to be done about it.
